Grief Support After the Death of a Child

The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to

assist families toward the positive resolution of

grief following the death of a child and to provide

information to help others be supportive.  We are a

national nonprofit, self-help support organization

that offers friendship, understanding, and hope to

bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings.  Our

meetings are open to family members who are

grieving the death of a child of any age and by any

cause.  There is no religious affiliation, and there

are no membership dues or fees.  Our goal is that

everyone who needs us will find us and everyone

who finds us will be helped.

MADD FUNDRAISER BY TCF MEMBER

Our son, Gregory, died on September 5, 2004. He was only 19 years old when a drunk driver claimed his life. Since

that time our family has been very involved with MADD. In support of this worthy cause, Chick-fil-A at 369 S. Mason

Road in Katy will partner with us again for our 3rd annual MADD fundraiser. This will occur on Saturday, September 13,

2008. Throughout that day, Chick-fil-A will be donating 10% of their proceeds to the Southeast Texas Chapter of

MADD.
